So I have been searching for a different car for a while since my Tour got totaled. My Dad ran upon a 1999 Honda Accord for sale. 2 door, black, loaded, and I am assuming the V6. I have never been a big Honda person although I have rode in a 1999 Accord that was basically identical to this description. The cars are nice but I don't know how much I want to become a ricer and dump money into a car (which is inevitable with any car). My question is, if I get this car can it still look classy? I don't wanna be a ricer.
Secondly the car has 60,XXX miles on it and is selling for 10,500. If I can't get this girl down to $9500 out-the-door then I can't afford it anyway. Just wondering what you guy's opinions are. Thanks!

Of course it can look good. I love the way 2dr Acorns look, especially in black. It just comes down to what you do to it. You put a giant wing, 9" exhaust, and yellow stickers everywhere you will be rice. Tint the windows, do exhaust right, leave the outside relativly stock, you will have a nice looking car.

Seems like too much money. I know Hondas are marked up, but that's a lot of money for a 99 car w/60k miles. Anyways, I've seen a lot of tastefully done hondas.

I wouldn't assume the V6 unless you see it under the hood. Even so I think that's a stupid high price for that. For the same money you can buy a lot better cars. You can probably find a good condition early E46 BMW 325i, or a very good condition E36 M3 (check the insurance rates on the M3 though...).
