So I'm really confused on what I should do.
Currently I have a SUPER LOUD (!!!) exhaust that consists of:
• W-R headers
• custom dual exhaust downpipes
• 2.5"/3" Y-Pipe
short section of 3" stainless piping
• 3"/3" Dynomax Ultra Flow in resonator spot
Professional bent (according to the exhaust guy, maybe SHO shop/SP?) 3" pipe around gas tank
• 3"/3" Y-Pipe
• 3" 90° stainless bends
• 3"/3" Edelbrock mufflers (left broken in half, right nearly completely detached; is the reason why it's SUPER LOUD... exhaust dude called these mufflers "Chinese crap")
• 3.5" chrome angle cut tips
I purchased 2 Dynomax 3"/3" stainless steel Ultra Flows and 2 3" Magnaflow rolled tips from Summit. Will have him use the W-R Y-Pipe and fabricate a flex pipe for it.
Well, turns out the rolled tips have "MAGNAFLOW" etched on the top end that would be seen if someone looked closely.
The Summit page didn't mention it, and the guy that will be doing the exhaust said he may be able to reuse the 3.5" chrome angle cut tips that are currently on the car.
Do y'all think I should reuse what I have, or put the Magnaflow tips on and risk being flamed? :ponder:
Way I see it is that I would be advertising that I have a Magnaflow system on the car, where in reality only the tips would be from them, the rest custom, Weapon R, and Dynomax.
