What king of wheel horspower #'s can we get with the sawp?

I'll tell you now b4 everyone else does....SEARCH There are alot of dyno'd 3L but I think they can range from 170-180 whp- 200's whp. I guess it just depends on the motor, mods, etc. I'm sure some of the 3L guys will chime in.

180 on a full 3l build. No SVT items.

180-190 is average...

180 with Full Stock SVT Exhaust

190 Without main cat, optimized y pipe.

My 3L made 204.3 whp / 188.9 wtq with my original build, 3L with split port 3L heads and SVT cams.

with minor tweaking I am at around 214whp now.

How so?

Most 3 liters get around 210-220 with a good amount of bolt on mods.

185-195 stock 3 liters.


Heck blackcoog was getting 230 at the wheels with every bolt on/upgrade possible.


The most important thing here guys is the tq increase. Since the 3l is over 210 and the 2.5l is at 170. HP is gained but you will mostly feel the tq when you do this install.

heres a good one i keep hearing that the 2.5 cams are better for low end torque. is there an actual increase in torque or is it more or less the same as svt cams?
