Bassani hasn't totally discontinued the contour exhaust. While they don't make-to-stock them like they do for a mustang, they will make-to-order.

I ordered mine through www.performancepeddler.com (1-800-470-1443). I received it 3 weeks later.

Since I recently got an almost new Bosal kit, I thought I'd recommend updating that section. It's supposed to be a little loud with the other stock exhaust parts, but even then, some people opt'd for the muffler "silencer" inserts.

I have headers, optimized y-pipe, and high flow Trubendz cat pipe. When I put it on, it sounded like it was just straight pipes -- wicked loud! I got the inserts and it's alot more quiet, but it's still VERY loud, and has some small rasp ranges (3500-4000; 5500-6000). I'm now planning on replacing the cat pipe with a custom pipe... using the largest muffler I can fit in that area. Though, as much as I want to make it more quiet/sane, currently 6000-7000rpm sounds very sweet.

Seriously. if you want a good sounding system, Just go Trubendz Resonated Magnaflow or Borla. Just make sure you can get it welded or fixed, because their fitment sucks arse.
