View Full Version : Seems too low

I have recently added a molded mirko to my car, and when I measured the clearance, I get 3" at each corner and 2.5" in the middle. I have the BAT Euro kit (springs and struts). My question is is the front suspension shot?. Should it be sitting that low? Seems way lower in the front than the back... like maybe an inch. Handles like it's on rails though... :)

Splitters are great on a race track but you are witnessing how tough it will be to keep from buggering it up every time you go up a driveway or through a dip in the road. :help:

I can just get my shoe under my mirko.....and i scrape maybe twice a week and not at all hard. Adjust your driving style accordingly and you'll be fine. that does sound a bit low for the BAT kit, but i'ld doubt that they're blown without some serious miles on them.

Your kit sounds like mine, 4" w/out mirko and a serious rake. I think it may just be some of the bat springs.

It sounds OK to me. I can only use one lift at work, and that's with putting wood boards down, still scraping side skirts (alignment rack, rest of lifts are too high to lift car, alignment rack is drive on). I have roush springs which are supposed to not be much of a drop. CSVTs are heavy. My svt sits much lower with these springs than my pre98 did + it has the lower body parts.
