Removing cat

one of my front cats blew out and plugged up the back one... What is the easiest way to get rid of the back cat. Im not worried about emissions.. So what way should i go?

Go to an exhuast shop and have them cut it out and weld in a piece of straight pipe in its place.

Im took off the piping before the cat and I am gonna just punch it out, and if that doesn't work i will just have a bud weld in some straight pipe
