OK, so a long time ago, for whatever reason, I clicked "never remember password for this site" for CEG. On the old site it was OK, becaue the "remember me" box on log in worked, and I never had to type in the password anyway.

Fast forwarding to today, the remember me box does not work. I want Firefox to remember my password so I dont have to keep typing it in everytime I come back on to CEG. I dont see how to do it. Ive checked the password options, and dont see where to change it. CEG is not on my "never remember password" list either, which I find strange.

I dont really feel like erasing all my cookies either so that it asks me again, b/c then I will have to redo all the other websites/forums as well.

Can somone tell me an easy way to get Firefox to remember my password? OR Can we get a remember me box that remembers me?

why don't you just delete the CEG cookie then and not all of them?

So there isn't a "remember me" box for you when you log into CEG-vb?
Log out and try again.
I have a remember me box, but I'm using IE, so I dunno if that makes a difference or not.
The log in boxes should be at the top right, and the remember me is a tiny check box right next to the username and password boxes.

Well, thats not working.

It will try to re-remember my name on the main site, but it wont give me the choice to remember here.

Also my login name is different for the old site vs. this one. Guess I might just have to deal with it.

try clearing all your history/security settings and visit the site again? Cookies, history, forms, etc

I was having a problem in Opera, where it remembers me on the main page, but whenever I go into a thread, it is as if I am not logged in (which means it loses my "go to last read" info and leaves me at the first post). It was driving me nuts, so now I am using explorer and no problems.

Remember me is working for me now. It wasnt something I was able to do, it just all of a sudden started working.

Someone must be busy behind the scenes. Thank you!

I hate bloody firefox because once you choose an option, unless you know exactly how you can';t undo your choice like in IE6, uh... reinstall firefox, and clear it out completely, or hope for an update .. .:s That's what I did when that stupid "encrypted page, are you sure" came up... :s
