I'm selling my zetec atx. It's got a few mods that improve mpg. One thing, it ain't got a/c. I live in south georgia and have driven it for 4+ years. With the tint, it ain't much of a bother at all. I rarely use a/c in my other rides it's that easy to deal with.
I WILL TRADE this car and/or my escort gt for a bike. I prefer a 500-650 sportish bike.
For the condition the car is in, I'm asking $2k. I will take less knowing this is a contour forum that knows the value of these cars. This is probably one of, if not THE, best running atx's you will EVER come across. The only thing it could probably use is an IAC valve for cold weather months as it will stall out on cold mornings until it warms up. Other than that, it is perfect (mechanicality).
For the interior, it needs new bezels around the door lock control things and a grill for the RR speaker. Seat belts need to be worked on for the rear (I removed them and I don't understand how to unlatch them to reinstall).
It's get better mpg than my mom's ol' civic or her new matrix.
It has a buncha stuff done. Good brake pads, good rear brakes (could use a RR wheel cylinder but it aint' leaking, just LR is new and brakes harder on that side), fidanza cam gears, essligner UDP, FMS wires, MSD coil, optimized TB, exhaust, excalibur alarm, neveloc shift knob, reverse glow gauges, CTA intake, CF hood, door speakers head unit and subs w/ amp and capacitor, etc... lots of maintenance stuff done. SVT struts and springs. Can include a SVT rear sway bar.
