do they exist? I've searched the forums, google, ebay and haven't come up with much. I'm looking to spend about $200 tops on all 4. Koni's and Spax are way out of my price range. Advance has the oem replacements for around $120 with a lifetime warranty. I'm thinking thats the best way to go. Also how much different are the 95 -97 se struts than 2000? Right now almost anything would be an upgrade to what i'm riding on so i'm not too concerned about superb ride quality. I just want to stop bouncing all over the place lol

Why in the world do you want adjustables? Just get OEM struts.

im getting the KYB's ( $270 @ www.ajusa.com) since there are cheaper than konis, there are not adjustable tho, keep this in mind , you will get what you pay for, dont go cheap...

i have intraxx lowering springs, thats the reasoning behind wanting adjustables, i've decided to go cheap because the oem struts i had lasted 70k, 45k of which i had the lowering springs on. Plus they come with a lifetime warranty so in another 45 - 50k i'll just trade them in for a new set.. providing i still have the car by then

Strut adjustability has no connection with lowering springs. Adjustable struts are used to tune a car's handling, and that's it. It's a feature you pay money for, and one I'm sure you'd never use. Get some BAT or Bilstien or other decent quality struts with an increase in damping over stock - that's what you need with stiffer springs.

beans - the springs are pretty decent, i got about a 2 inch drop all around. I did some research before i got them and they were supposed to have the biggest drop out of all the springs available so thats what made me choose them. Before my struts blew the ride quality was pretty soft too.. as far as a warranty i forget how long it was.. the lifetime warranty i was talking about was for the replacement struts.

I was under the impression that you could adjust the ride height to a point with the adjustable struts as well as stiffness

the only way to adjust the ride height is with coil overs and then you will want the adjustable struts.

O Rly? Why exactly do you need shock adjustability with height adjustment? I'd rather have a good non-adjustable shock than a cheap adjustable any day.

well if its a daily driver also, like most of us on here, then having the ability to soften the ride just a little bit is nice. its not much of a difference but i can feel a slightly softer ride with the struts on full soft.

Do not go cheap on your suspension. Even if OEM will feel sorta OK for a little while, it really ain't. I guess it ain't a big deal if you don't drive hard and just want a look or something. If you want something worth driving, at the very least get Spax. But with intrax, I'd get konis or bilsteins. If you can't do it right, just don't do it. Ride a bicycle or something.
