I was crawling under my MTX the other day. What the heck does this thing do?

As far as I can tell, it's just dead weight. It feels like a big rubber bumper but it's just bolted to the subframe. Nothing comes in contact with it and it doesn't appear to move.
Thanks,

Thats just the gravitron deflector. It makes sure the stray anti-matter floating around doesn't impact the lateral forces that are exerted. Everyone knows that.
Just pulling your tail. Looks like a bushing of some kind but have no idea what for.

BAH!!!! Dead weight it is!!!!!
Considering it is going to get a set of PRT filled mounts, I don't think that stupid thing will help. Out it goes.

lol, yeah, i wouldn't. any rubber blocks in an engine bay or underneath will be vibration dampers, you may not like the effects upon removal.

Not much to see right now. Still a major work in progress. I'd like to get it all running by the next PRT meet. There's still a lot to do and money is pretty tight.
It will have new seats, a 60/40 split rear, my wooden trunk floor, a relocated battery, my full Infinity and SonyES stereo system, a shiny almost-new motor with painted EVERYTHING. I think you'll be pretty impressed when it's re-born.

Lol no! Not before my time! I've seen all three of 'em! It's honestly spelled giga- and not jiga-, that's all. I just was feeling like a spelling nazi at the moment.
