View Full Version : Spotted Black CSVT
I was traveling on 340 in Maryland yestarday and when I pull onto 340 from the Lander Jefferson exit I came up right beside it. Anyone on here. I went to give them a thumbs up but they wouldn't look over at me. :blackeye:
I also see a silver frost one from time to time on the Mt. Zion exit off of 340. Looks like an older guy driving it.
Both cars appeared to be stock.

How can I move it now? I didn't notice that was down there. I've never posted anything in the regional area. Makes sense though.

DOH, I think that was me. Was your SE maroon in color? My bad, I was on the Blackberry, not a good thing. This was yesterday down 340 heading to WV. Nice lookin 'Tour! Yep mine is stock except for the removal of the resonator. You live in Ranson? I'm in Harpers Ferry.
No mine is silver. This guy was just driving. He was doing anything but cruising.

Was he driving in the silver one? I could have swore the SE I was next was maroon.
I live in Harpers Ferry off of 230 in Gap View, about a mile off of 340

I have a silver one. He was in the black one. It looked completely stock and the guy had tattoos on his arms.
Oh yeah the car also had temp tags.

That was ME! I was in the Black SVT Contour with the temp tags and the tattoos:laugh:
What color Contour were you in?? I did see you, however I thought the Contour was Maroon.
I was in the silver se with the dark ass windows. I took off at that light in HF hoping you were going to pop up and see me.

OK, the more I think about it was Silver. Not sure why I was thinking Maroon. Yep new member and second SVT, first was a 95 Cobra. Thanks!

Absolutely, have had more Mustangs/Expeditions/Excursions/Rangers/Contour/Mystique that I can count!
The Excursion is my wifes, the F150 has been retired from daily duty, and now the SVT is my daily/fun/weekend/play/mod car.
Yeah my truck has been retired too with the rising gas prices. I commute to Frederick everyday so I had to do something. We ended up buying the new fusion and then I started driving the contour to work.
It has the 2.5l but has a automatic tranny. Only 75,000 miles though. It should go to 200,000. Hopefully.
These contours can be a money pit.
Mine needs some aesthetic work but I'm not pressed to get it done.

You got that right. I use mine to commute to Herndon everyday. It runs very very well, knock on wood for having 170k on the clock. I did however have to replace the firewall 02 sensor which was a *****. It's a one owner car and was well cared for, not one ding, however, it could use a paint job, but from 10 feet it aint bad. I had a 91 Sentra SE-R that was a money pit as well. Hopefully the SVT will be OK. The previous owner had a ton of stuff done to it that thankfully I won't have to worry about for a while. By the way, I picked it up a couple of weeks ago.

FX4 - Were you at Advanced Auto in Martinsburg this evening around...6ish? I seen a black E0 sitting there with temp tags...thought about stopping. There was one that went by me on Foxcroft Ave. a few weeks back too.

Stopped by to pick up a scanner and some other items I probably could do without but you know how it goes:laugh: A P1133 code has been kicking my butt lately and just decided to perform the UIM/LIM and fuel system rebuild. Everything is in pieces now! Should have stopped over! Were you in the SVT?

Yeah I was in the SVT, it's my daily driver now, especially since my Bird is torn apart for body work. There's another black E1 in C-Town...appears to be a girl that works at Sheetz...dunno though.

I assume it's a girl....looks to have one of those flowery Hawaiian things hanging from the rear view. I noticed the other day it's missing it's rear mesh from the bumper.
