Froogle search for Borla ProXS mufflers. They're a great value, and have that deep, signature Borla sound. They are also made of 303 Stainless steel and come with a Million Mile Warrenty.

i might as well make good use of this forum, i recently bought my 99 svt that has a weapon r y-pipe, no cat, one big and one small vibrant resonators, and 2 vibrant mufflers. included with the purchase were weapon r headers. the current setup is too loud for me, especially the drone. i want to only replace the mufflers, that have stock sound characteristics, just a little louder, but also sound good when the headers get on... anyone have any ideas for my application? i really prefer a 'gurgle' and not a drone that typical fart cans give. id appreciate any suggestions as im not the richest man that can afford mulitple attempts to get it right. thanks.

Talk to Luca, a member here. She had headers, w/ magnaflows. It wound up being a little too quiet for her, but maybe you'll like the sound. Check out the Allen or Luca thread in the Northeast Forum for some more ideas.

ok, i will. im weary about magnaflows because ive heard a lot of dissapointment from owners with other applications. im curious if i should try different resonators as well?
I got headers because after installing the Magnaflow mufflers/resonator the car was too quiet.
When I bought the car it had a glasspack in place of the resonator, I took out the glasspack and replaced it with a Magnaflow. I was so disappointed with the sound, or lack thereof, that I got headers. Now the car sounds much better.
I still have the three Magnaflows on the car with Weapon R headers, WR Y-pipe and a Tru-Bendz high flow cat
The sound/tone is better but not yet where I want it to be so I will be losing the Magnaflow. res soon.
I like it loud. ;)

i have the msds header and y pipe, replacement universal cat. thrush 28 inch long glass pack and dynomax superturbo at the rear on a full2.5 inch single exhaust. its not too loud wich is what i wanted. i am considering getting rid of the cat to see if i can get a tougher sound.
