Is there a kit i can buy to do the conversion or do i have to junkyard it?
I was looking at the old fourms... http://www.contour.org/ubbthreads/showflat.php?Cat=&Board=brakes&Number=459664&page=0&view=collapsed&sb=5&o=7&fpart=1
and it seems the FAQ is not there...
Any help would be great.

yup you gotta junkyard it [or peice it together new but thats... ummm... pricey]. I did it earlier this year and did it new [the knuckles were used]. Its not that difficult to do [I managed it with no practical mechanical skills, no manuals, no forum printouts, basically just common sense and it worked out just fine].
heres one of the howto's thats been floating around for years.
